Onisaburo’s Mongolian Expedition
The expedition to establish a religious utopia in Mongolia ran from Feb 13, 1924 until Onisaburo’s arrest at Paindara on June 21, 1924.

Audience with the Dalai Lama, Dharamsala, India
June 23, 1979, Kyotaro Deguchi and Masamichi Tanaka journeyed to Dharamsala to see the Dalai Lama. In return, the Dalai Lama visited Oomoto’s Kameoka Head-quarters, Nov 8, 1990.

Joint Worship, Aizenkai Branch, Kathmandu, Nepal
Feb 16, 1978 and Feb 28, 1979, Oomoto delegations participated in joint worship services.
March 28, 1974, Aizenkai Branch established.

Aizenkai Branch, Madras, India
March 28, 1976, Aizenkai Branch founded. In March, 1996, Yasumi Hirose and Masato Deguchi visited for the 20th Anniversary of the Madras Branch.

Worship Service at the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy Aizenkai Branch, Colombo Sri Lanka
March 10, 1979, Aizenkai Branch founded in Colombo.
Dec 1984, Oomoto conducted a worship service at the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy.

Cao Dai Affiliation Tay Ninh, Vietnam
Oct 1935, Oomoto joined in affiliation with the Vietnamese new religion Cao Dai. In July 1956, Isao Deguchi led a delegation to Cao Dai Headquarters. Teruaki Furuta visited again on August 5, 1973.

Hidemaru in the 1930’s, Youth Exchange and Esperanto, Shanghai, China
Before the Second Incident, Oomoto had a thriving branch in Shanghai, which Hidemaru Deguchi visited several times in the 1930’s. In Oct 1988 the Oomoto Youth Department sent an exchange mission to Shanghai and met with Chinese Esperantists.

Tao yuan Affiliation, Taiwan
Nov 4, 1923, Oomoto joined in affiliation with the Chinese new religion Tao Yuan. May, 1931, an Oomoto delegation visited Tao Yuan headquarters in China. After 1952, ties continue with Tao Yuan headquarters in Taiwan.

Aizenkai Branch Prayers for World Peace, Manila, Philippines
Sept 17, 1986, the Manila Branch of the Aizenkai was founded.
March 1995, a Joint Prayer and Memorial Service was held in Manila, co-sponsored by the Aizenkai and Cardinal Jaime L. Sin, Archbishop of Manila.

Oomoto Ceremony, Pohnpei, Micronesia
July 1931, the Aizenkai founded a branch on the island of Pohnpei. April 1, 1985, Itsuki Deguchi led an Oomoto delegation to the island and conducted  a worship ceremony.

World Hindu Conference, Bali, Indonesia
Sept 1992, Kimio Matsumoto represented Oomoto at the World Hindu Conference in Bali.
